Crafting the Peanuts Gang: A Step-by-Step Guide to Your Own Pumpkin Patch Masterpieces
To gather materials and have fun creating your own Peanuts Gang pumpkins, here’s what you’ll need:
Paperback book images, scissors, mod podge, brushes and pumpkins. Painting the pumpkins is optional. Your pumpkin patch will still look adorable if you mod podge everything onto all orange pumpkins!
These 3 cute paperbacks by Charles M. Schulz are from Amazon!
You probably have scissors but if not, here are 2 helpful sizes! You’ll definitely need the smaller 4 inch scissors for a clean cut.
If you’re out of Mod Podge or have never tried it, here’s a convenient link! I find the matte finish a little easier to photograph because it’s less reflective.
For Mod Podge brushes, I prefer the bristle brushes to the foam but I’ve included links to either preference!
The Oriental Trading pumpkins that I used are currently sold out so I’ve included links to Amazon’s great selection that’s very conveniently available all year long!!! Hobby Lobby and Michaels are also always an option, especially when they’re on sale! The pumpkin height that I used (not including the stem) was 6 inches. The width was 8 inches. Most images probably only need a 5-6 inch width.
Amazon has these awesome 8 inch pumpkins in 10 different colors!!!!!
Amazon also has a set of 7 assorted sized pumpkins that are available in 20 different colors!!!!!! The smaller sizes may be too little for a Charlie Brown character but you could still decoupage it with fall leaves and other tiny images from the books!
This group of 4 pumpkins is available in 7 different sizes!
